The materials used on the existing building, shown in the photo above, are painted wood siding and typical stucco. The existing building is comprised of mainly walls and very few of windows. As a result the interiors are dark and the company is forced to use fluorescent lighting for the entire day. The future design is looking to use more energy efficient glass that brings in more daylight and will help to reduce their energy use.
